Wythenshawe Vets Over 35s are located in southern Manchester and compete in the Cheshire-based Vets League Top Tier.

"That's a bit different but then, I love running and just move forward - I'm not defending that much," he said.

"I tell my defender 'I'm not hanging back' and that I'm just going to keep running.

"That running is what I'm after. It's enjoyable."

Along with Cisse's six scores on his first game, Stephen Ireland has netted eight in three appearances for Wythenshawe, while George Boyd scored five on his debut appearance and Joleon Lescott, a centre-half by position, scored a hat-trick in one match up front.

"Our team went 1-0 up and had a
